Detailed Description
Graphite electrodes and associated nipples are made from petroleum coke and needle coke ,taking the coal-tar pitch as the binding substance, through state-of-art processes of crushing, milling, screening, batching, mixing, extrusion, bake, pressurized pitch impregnation, rebake, graphitizing and machining and finally become a superior conducting material with high temperature resistance and anti-oxidation properties. Graphite electrodes possess good electrical conductivity and chemical steady. During the high temperature the electrodes can show their strong mechanical property and anti-thermal &shock quality. Electrodes are the best conduct for electricity and thermal. They are widely used in electric arc furnace and refining ladle furnace. Besides they can also be used in the smelting furnace with high temperature such as smelting ferroalloys, industrial silicon, and yellow phosphor and so on. Due to the different power and current requirements, we adopt different material and processing art in producing, usually graphite electrodes include nominal or regular power graphite electrode (NP),impregnated high power graphite electrode (HP)and high power graphite electrode type Ⅱ(HP type Ⅱ)as well as ultra high power graphite electrode(UHP).The diameter is fromφ75~600mm. we can manufacture special electrodes according to the customers requirements. Raw material---calcining---milling---screening---dosing---mixing and kneading---forming---baking-impregnating---graphitizing---inspecting---maching---finished products.
