The Filtration materials are widely used in single layer or multi-layer pool and machinery filters to treat all kinds of industrial water, domestic water, sewerage, pure water, soft water, industrial dust and boiler fumes.
This filtration material has been utilized to treat all sorts of the wasting waters in many enterprises among such varied industrial fields as, medicine, chemical industry, petroleum, electricity, electrical coating, paper making, and distiller. It exists many merits for this product as follows:
There is little loss of the initial pressure head for the filtration bed of the porcelain sand, which is beneficial to prolong the working period of filtrating pond. At the same time, there is smaller loss of the end pressure head, which can cut down the height of the filtrating pond and save the expense of construction;
There is much larger capacity of the pollutants entrapment for the porcelain sand, in general, it is in 9~10kg/m3. In contrast, the pollutants entrapment amount of the quartz sand filtrating ponds is in 7. 8~9kg/m3. It is 1. 2~1. 5 times higher for the porcelain sand than that of the quartz sand;
For the porcelain sand, there is spherical surface, and it is easy to wash, the water consumption washing reduces 30-50% than that of the quartz sand;
There is much larger mechanical strength and smaller ratio of abrasion for the porcelain sand, its using lifetime can be 5 times longer than that of the quartz sand;
The porcelain filtration material is even and regular. It is easy to load, and impossible to induce the flow loss. There is not soluble materials and the secondary pollution, it especially adapts to utilize in the ions exchanging, reverse osmosis equipment as the pretreatment filtrating material and the supporting layer of the resin, or as the cushion ply in the active carbon absorber.
According to the quality of the water, if the porcelain sand is processed with the special crafts, it can be made into the versatile porcelain sand for removing Fe, Mn, or F etc. In addition, it can also be prepared into the coarse filtrating material, which can be used to treat the wasting water containing the oil, or as the biomass filtrating materials to remove the Fe, Mn, F, oil, and the other organic pollutants.
