UNF-5 Superplasticizer USE UNF-5 can be used in self-accelerated curing, pre-stress and pre-cast work. UNF-5 can be applied to achieve high fluidity, high strength and steam-curing. The temperature condition can be as low as 0. Added with other admixture, it can be used for special job, technique, and weather condition requirements. For instance, when used with MNC-AE air entraining admixture, it can produce concrete against freeze-thaw attack as many as 300 times. ADVANTAGES Up to 25% water reduction or 6" slump increase. Produce high performance concrete of C80 with slump of 50mm-70mm or C60 with slump of 180mm-200mm. Slump control at the job site without adding water. Higher early and ultimate strengths. Given the same amount of cement and slump requirement, this product can increase the concrete stress by 40-110%, 40-90%, 30-80% and 30-50% on day 1, 3, 7, and 28 respectively. Improves concrete placebility with no loss in strength. At addition rate of 0.5% -1.0%, UNF-5 can save cement 12%-20% in comparison to the concrete at the same slump and strength. Higher strengths may be achieved more economically. Improves cohesiveness and reduces concrete segregation. Concrete achieves higher durability. UNF-5 has wide application. It does not retard and introduce air. It will reduce the chemical heat in the cement and produces concrete with lower permeability. DESCRIPTION UNF-5 is a high range water reducer in powder. It is mainly composed of naphthalene sulfonate and organic compounds. It greatly reduces water/cement rate and increase strength of concrete at early and late-stages with no retarding and air-introducing. It is developed for high performance concrete with increased fluidity, stress, compressive strength and anti-bleeding. UNF-5 meets the requirements of chemical admixture specifications for concrete: GB8076-1997, GB50119-2003. ADDITION RATE UNF-5 can be added directly or added in after melt. It can be added during mixing and after-mixing. The afterward approach can achieve better result. The suggested addition rate is 0.75%. PACKAGING UNF-5 is available in Polywoven Bag with plastic liens at 50-lb and 66-lb. It can be stored for a long-term. Since this product can be melt in water, moisture should be avoided in transportation and storage. UNF-5 contains no flammable ingredients, but caution should be given to the plastic package in handing.
