Detailed Description
Scope of Application XF7-30 Filled Cable Sleeve is used to protect the filled non-inflatable telecommunication cables. It is usually applied in realignment, cable additions and maintenance of buried cable in hand holes and access wells. It satisfies all requirements for various cable connections and meanwhile guarantees the high insulation of contact ends in the sleeve. Main Features 1、Upper and bottom sleeves are half structured. The joint of the sleeve shell is taper sealed. Since the material used is transparent, it shows better views for installation and brings convenience for construction, inspection and acceptance, and R&M. 2、Caps on both ends have pilot channels that can be opened repeatedly. 3、The sleeve can be opened repeated during wire realignment, repairs or additions, which is cost effective. 4、The sleeve is filled with seal resin, which shows excellent performance in water and corrosion resistance and insulation resistance. Main Features 1、Ambient temperature: -30℃ - +60℃ Atmosphere Pressure: 86 - 106Kpa 2、Temperature Cycle: non physical change is shown after four cycles between min. temp -30℃±2℃ and max. temp. +60℃±2℃. 3、Axial tensile force: no injury is shown on the sleeve after 445N axial tensile force has been imposed for 30 min on the sleeve. 4、Impact Tes t: no obvious injury or damages that may affect the functions has been shown on the sleeve surface after three successive impacts by 2 kg steel ball falling down from the height of 0.6m. 5、Corrosion resistance: No stress crack, peel, grains or color change after 24h and 15 min immersion in 3% H2SO4, NaOH, coal oil, and NaCl solutions respectively. 6、Insulation resistance: conductors and the metal members of the shell are able to resist electric resistance over 1×1010Ω 7、Voltage endurance: Conductors and metal members of the shell show no breakdown and flash-over in 3 seconds under the voltage of 10KV (DC).
