Zhejiang Huate Group was established in 1984 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. It is a large comprehensive shareholding company that integrates research, production and trade. Zhejiang Huate Group has four chemical plants forming an organoclay production base, an original mining base, a paint production base. Moreover, it also owns a provincial R&D center—Huate Technical Center, which provides support for the sustainable development of Huate Group. Huate Chemical is preparing to go to public next year.
We are the biggest manufacturer of modified bentonite rheological additive in China and we take up 60% market share in China. We have rich experience on applications in paints and coatings industry, oildrilling industry. More and more famous companies are using our BP series to substitute for BENTONE, CLAYTONE, TIXOGEL. Our clients include AKZO NOBEL, KANSAI PAINT, BERGER PAINT FLINT GROUP, SIEGWERK.
We own an area of a mine is about 300 thousand square meters which has 80 million tons bentonite storage. Our annual capacity of Bentonite products is 55,000 tons, including 5,500 ton BP organic bentonite series and 10,000 ton activated clay. Since 2003, the company is a holder of the ISO 9001:2000 certificates, which guarantees that all operations are conducted according to the stipulated standards.
