Highly accurate loss angle tangent/power factor measurement equipment is used to measure very low dielectric losses in high voltage equipment. Loss Angle Tangent/Power Factor is an accurate and non-destructive method of providing important information about the degree of deterioration of an insulation system. Tests are performed during regular maintenance and inspection of high voltage equipment such as power transformers, transformers, bushings, capacitors, motors, generators, power cables, and other high voltage equipment.

Hengfeng capacitance and tan delta tester measures the capacitance and dielectric loss factor (tgδ) of high voltage electric equipment.
