SHANDONG KEXIN BIOCHEMICAL CO., LTD. is a joint-venture company which is invested by Central Research Institute of China Chemical Science and Technology, Shandong Pesticide Research Institute (SPRI) and some employees of the SPRI. It is an enterprise integrated with scientific research, development, production and marketing. At the same time, it is also the industry demonstration base for Shandong pesticide technology center, the testing and technical fruits transforming base of SPRI. The company, founded in 2004, has more than 300 employees, about 23,000 m2 building areas, 5 large chemical workshops and 1 power workshop etc., and has invested RMB30 million to established the production equipments for Paraquat (10,000 MT Paraquat technical and 10,000 MT Paraquat SL per year). It has set up R&D Department, Production Department, Analysis Department, Ministries of International Trade and Sales Department etc..
The company has solid technology strength. It employs 5 professors, more than 10 senior engineers and a lot of professional technicians. The firm has built wide cooperation relationships with high academy and Scientific Research Institute and mainly studies the developments of the bio-rational pesticides and the improvements of the pesticides technics. We have achieved 5 projects until now. The success of “Production Technique for Paraquat” has driven the whole developments of paraquat in China and improved domestic paraquat technology to international advanced level. It has gained “First Prize of Shandong Science and Technology Development” in 2002 and has been transferred to many enterprises, for example, “Red Sun Group Co., Ltd.”, “Jinan Luba Chemical Co., Ltd.”, “Shandong Dacheng Pesticide Co., Ltd.” etc.. The paraquat technique has achieved tremendous economic and social benefits. Furthermore, our company has taken on the national “eleventh-five” projects for developments of pesticide engineering key technology, 1 Shandong key Technology R&D Program, 1 project of the Innovation Fund for Technology Based Firms and so on.. Our main products “30.5% Paraquat Technical and 20% Paraquat SL” have gained the honour of “National New Products”.
