1.Hydraulic drill jar
Hydraulic drill jar is an integral hydraulic jar with up jarring and down jarring.when downhole drilling tools are stuck, the jar can provide a huge impact to unfreeze with up jarring. Thus normal drilling operation can be recovered quickly.
When the jar is used. Operators can adjust to picking up it or slacking off it on surface to create up jarring impact or down jarring impact(without addition to the torque or adjustment to the outside part) and adjust impact from very small range to the biggest range needed. The jar can be operated easily and conveniently with high reliability and applied to many downwhole activities of drilling. Coring, fishing, workover etc.

2.Double Acting Hydraulic-Mechanical Drilling Jar
This is a jarring and stuck releasing tool, it integrates the up jar and down jar impact and can release the stuck accident occurring during drilling operation. According to the requirement, the tool can automatically control the impact strength and times of jarring Moreover, it is an ideal tool for vertical well and deflecting well.

Jarring Up
When jarring up apply overpull to overcome the latch setting, which initiates the hydraulic delay. During this hydraulic delay sequence the jar can be pulled harder if required which increases the impact force. See the Jar specifications to determine maximum pull during delay.
Pick up string weight above the jar + any hole drag above jar + Jar’s latch setting, the jar will now come out of latch.
Example; String weight above jars 120,000 lbs. + hole drag above jars 20,000 lbs. + Jar’s latch setting 85,000 lbs. = 225,000 lbs. required to pull jar out of latch and begin hydraulic delay.
After impact, apply a down force to close jar re-engage latch, then repeat jarring cycle if needed.
Jarring Down
When jarring down apply weight to Jars to overcome Down latch setting and pump open force, at this point the latch will release in the jar allowing it to fire downwards.
Example; Slack off drill string overcoming latch setting, Down Lock setting 45,000 lbs. + pump open force (if pumps are on) 20,000 lbs. = 65,000 lbs. Jars will fire down.
After impact, pick up drill string to re-latch jars and repeat if needed.
Benefits & Features:
No safety clamp is required
Mechanical Latch will keep jar in locked position and prevents unexpected firing while tripping or making connections
Can be used in extended reach, directional, or horizontal wells
Jar can be ran in compression or tension if required
Adjustable latch settings allow jar to be located throughout drill string. (Adjusted in shop prior to shipping)
Standard seals in the tool are effective to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C). Jars can be serviced with High Temperature seals effective to 500 degrees F or 300 degrees C
Jar is not effected by continuous firing , does not require long periods to cool down jars
Hydraulic delay while up jarring allows the operator to vary jarring force (impact) down hole by increasing or decreasing pull
Mechanical section of the jar and Hydraulic section are separately sealed from each other providing greater reliability
User friendly and durable design allows jars to be used in many applications if required, Coring, Fishing, Air drilling
In horizontal, or high angle wells if weight can be applied to jars they are effective in creating a impact.
