How to set it up:
1. Open the bottom of the plush toy and remove ball.
2. Install batteries using a small Philips Head Screw driver. Remove the two screws holding the ball together (marked with an arrow).Remove single screw holding cover of battery compartment. Install batteries as indicated. Replace cover. Put ball together and replace both screws.
3. Press button on top of ball and shake aggressively to activate. If it does not activate press the button again and shake. The button must be on the on position for it to work.
4. Put ball back in plush toy.
5. Your dog may press the button and turn it off while playing, if so press the button again.
6. The toy will turn itself off when left alone. When not being played with you may want to take the ball out of the plush toy and press the button to turn it OFF to ensure longer battery life.
