Magnesia carbon bricks for EAF have good performance in high temperature resistance, high slag resistance, high thermal shock resistance and temperature creep resistance.
Application
1. Bottom
Refractory magnesia carbon bricks are mainly used for the bottom electrode of DC EAF, which can contribute to improve the service life of bottom electrode and enhance furnace running efficiency.
2. Taphole
Tapping spout and Taphole of eccentric bottom tapping electric arc furnace are also lined with magnesia carbon bricks.
3. Slag line
Refractory magnesia carbon bricks can be used in slag line of EAF.
