3. Applications :
Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose CMC is widely used in printing and dyeing and has higher cost performance compared with sodium alginate. With a higher degree of substitution, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose CMC can replace most sodium alginate.
A. In the textile industry , CMC is widely used in cotton spinning process, CMC act as finishing agent for textile,
instead of the traditional starch paste material, greatly reducing the fabric sizing and back again to the environment pollution in the pulp, while CMC in the fabric fibers is created into thin film; CMC thin film is hygroscopic, increased the plastic fabric, reduce the high speed loom "jump yarn", "broken" phenomenon.it could improve the best product & increase strength in the process of spinning, common addition is 0.3-1.5%.
B. In the textile printing process, CMC is used for the printing paste in the dyeing and finishing process, it can
increase the dye hydrophilic ability, penetration ability, so that uniform dyeing, reduce aberration. also could
enhance the rate of bond & quality of painting as suspension of raw materials. The recommended addition is
0.5-2.0%.
