NON-GMO Glucoamylase For Ethanol PUREMEI PG PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT A robust glucoamyalse derived from Non-GMO strains of Aspergillus niger, enables faster fermentation, more ethanol yield and less starch residues. PRELIMINARY DESCRIPTION Glucoamylase PUREMEI PG is made from NON-GMO strains ofAspergillus nigerthrough submerged fermentation, extraction and refining processes. PUREMEI PG has a high conversion rate of starchy substrates into fermentable sugars. It canhydrolyze-D-1, 4 glucosidic bonds from the non-reducing end of starch one after another. It can also hydrolyze the-D-1, 6 glucoside branch bonds of starch and cleaves the -1, 3 bonds to release glucose. PUREMEI PG is designed with a robust glucoamylase activity for saccharification in fuel ethanol production. Use of PUREMEI PG provides higher ethanol yields, faster fermentation and less starch residues. See Figure 2. | - - - - - - - - Figure 1: EFFECT OF PH ON ACTIVITY | Figure 2: EFFECT OF TEMP ON ACTIVITY | | | Substrate: 4%(w/v) Soluble Starch Temperature: 60 Time: 60 min | Substrate: 4%(w/v) Soluble Starch pH: 4.2 Time: 60 min | - - - - APPLICATIONS AND BENEFITS # PUREMEI PG is used to saccharify liquified mash from various sources including corn, milo, barley, wheat, rice, potatoes and tapioca. # The resultant glucose product is fermented by yeast or another appropriate microorganism to yield ethanol. # For ground-grain processing plants using simultaneous saccharification fermentation (SSF), PUREMEI PG may be added directly to the fermenter. # For ground-grain dry mill plants and for wet mill plants using a separate pre-saccharification step prior to fermentation, PUREMEI PG may be added to the cooling mash or liquefied starch when the temperature reaches 55 to 60C. Temperatures above 65C can result in loss of activity rapidly. DOSAGE GUIDELINES # PUREMEI PG is generally added at a level of 0.065 to 0.085% w/w (dry solids basis). # The optimal dose depends on the actual processing conditions including raw materials, temperature, reaction time, pH and the desired results in individual ethanol plants. PACKAGING, STORAGE AND SHELF-LIFE - - - - Standard Packaging | 25kg, 30kg HDPE plastic drums or 1125kg IBC totes | Customized packaging | Available upon request | Best Before | PUREMEI PG is best used within 6 months from date of delivery if it is stored below 25C in its original packaging, sealed and unopened, protected from the sunlight. | Storage at Customer's Warehouse | 025C | Shelf-life | The shelf-life of PUREMEI PG is eighteen months provided this product isstored properly at 010C. Prolonged storage and/or adverse conditions such as higher temperatures may lead to a higher dosage requirement. | - - - - SAFE HANDLING OF ENZYMES # Inhalation of dust or aerosols should be avoided due to enzymes may cause allergic reactions in sensitized individuals. # Splashing should be avoided. Spilled product should be flushed away with water immediately. # Wear suitable protective gloves, safety glasses and nose covers. # In case of contact with the skin or eyes, promptly rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. # Refer to the Safety Data Sheet for further information regarding how to handle the product safely.
