Spunlace nonwoven fabrics are typically made with fine fibers that are 1.5 dpf or less. These fabrics are MD oriented and can be made with high elongation in the CD. Spunlace products are supplied in widths ranging from 1 to 124 with basis weights ranging from 35 gsm to over 100 gsm. Our products are offered in apertured and non-apertured with various fiber contents.

Spunlace Process:
Spunlacing, also known as hydroentangling is a process of entangling a web of loose fibers on a porous belt or moving perforated or patterned screen to form a sheet structure by subjecting the fibers to multiple rows of fine high-pressure jets of water (Fig. 1). Various steps are of importance in the hydroentangling process.
