3.0mm Low Insertion 24x Lanes MTP Female Fiber Optic OS2 Singlemode Trunk Yellow Cable Technical Information: SINO's MTP Trunk Multicore cable assemblies facilitate rapid deployment of high density backbone cabling in data center and other high fiber environments reducing network installation or reconfiguration time and cost. They are used to interconnect cassettes, panels or ruggedised MTP Fan Outs, spanning MDA, HDA and EDA zones. These cable assemblies are typically connectorized using 12-fiber micro-distribution cables (OM3 or OM4) and 12-fiber MPO connectors. MPO connectors can be offered with alignment pins (MALE) or no pins (FEMALE). In order to mate two MPO/MTP connectors together through an adapter, one connector must have male pins and the other must be without pins. Cables can be made as MPO-MPO patchcords or as MPO fanouts where one side of the cable assembly is terminated with an MPO connector while the other side has 12 individual single fiber connectors (LC, SC, FC, ST). The most common wiring scheme for a MPO-MPO patchcord is a straight through arrangements, where fiber #1 from one connector is connected to fiber #1 on the other connector, fiber #2 to fiber #2, and so on. This wiring arrangement will produce a patchcord where one connector has its mating key UP and the opposite connector will have its mating key DOWN. This common arrangement is referred to as a straight key up, key down MPO/MTP patchcord. Other wiring arrangements can be offered like reversed, pairs flipped, or any other per the desires of the customer.
