# High-speed dental bearings - Radial or Angular configuration, Oil or Grease lubrication
# High-speed Ceramic or Steel dental bearings
# LTL LifeTime Lube dental bearings
# Low-speed dental bearings
# Contra-angle dental bearings
The miniature dental ball bearing is one of the signature items in the dental repair buissiness. Miniature dental ball bearings, like all ball bearings, are designed to handle loads and reduce friction so that those loads are moved easily through the application. Loads handled by ball bearings can be radial, bearing loads perpendicular to axle, or bearing loads in an axial direction.
A Choise of Angular Contact and Radial Configurations
Angular Contact Dental Bearings feature symmetrical cages. These enhance performance and extend bearing life as each ball is fully supported and comptetely surrounded by the cage. Angular contact bearings must be axially preloaded with a spring or 0-rings to assure contact with the full unrelieved shoulder.
Radial Dental Bearings are less expensive and easier to work with than angular contact bearings. They have full shoulders on both the inner and outer raceways so they wont disassemble during handling and instatlation in the handpiece.
Dental ball bearings can have flanges or no flanges, shielded or open. Many users prefer shielded ball bearings to protect against contamination, but this may not be a particular concern in your application. Stainless steel miniature ball bearings are perfect for medical and dental equipment, they must be very small but also very precise and durable, as well as corrosion-resistant. Stainless steel ball bearings provide great corrosion resistance.
Both [high-speed dental bearings] and [low-speed dental bearings] provide manufacturers and dentists with a new standard in handpiece performance higher or optimal speeds, smoother operation, longer life and reduced maintenance.
High precision miniature ball bearings that we deliver are produced to the highest Quality Assurance standards, noise and vibration tested to ensure smoother bearing operation, longer life, and higher speeds. Dental bearings are available with few different ball cage materials to meet the complete range of high-speed operating environments.
Cage Materials to Match Application Needs
Cage wear and fracture are the leading causes of bearing failure. For that reason it is critical that wear and autoclave resistance, as well as price, be considered in choosing cage materials for a particular operating environment. Phenolic is a good choice for operating environments with minimal heat or chemical sterilization. It will maintain low friction characteristics even in the absence of proper lubrication. Torlon (Polyamide-imide) provides very good autoclave resistance when proper maintenance protocols are followed. Minapar cages offer a proven combination of wear and autoclave resistance at competitive prices.
LTL Bearings
Minasure LTL LifeTimeLube bearings are the first high-speed, self-lubricating dental bearings to combine superior wear resistance with exceptional autoclave resistance. These new premium bearings raise handpiece standards: smoother operation, longer life and maintenance-free performance.
Unlike radial bearings, Minasure LTL bearings feature symmetrical cages. Angular contact design enhances performance and extends bearing life because unlike radial designs each ball is fully supported and completely surrounded by the cage.
Low-speed Dental Bearings
Miniature ball bearings have become essential components in the rotating elements of dental instruments. Dental ball bearings performs as a critical part of dental handpiece. Dental handpiece is required to hold high level of speed rotation and the lowest vibration to minimize the stress of patients
In order to respond the market demand promptly, we have a full line of standardized low-speed dental bearingsand high speed dental bearings , means for every rotation required.
