Weather Resistant Aerial Bundled Cable AAC AAAC ACSR Neutral Conductor
Bare conductor: AAC, AAAC, ACSR, ACAR,ACSR/AW conductor;
ABC Overhead Cable: Duplex,Triplex, Quardruplex service drop,and so on;
Concentric cable: Aluminum/Aluminum-alloy/Copper conductor,one/ multi-core optional;
PVC Insulation Wire: Solid/Flexible Aluminum/Copper wire;
Power cable: Copper/Aluminum conductor PVC/ XLPE/PE insulated armoured/non-armoured PVC sheathed, etc.
Conductor Construction
Conductors are available in the following constructions:
Aluminum conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR), concentric-lay stranded
Aluminum alloy 1350-H19 hard-drawn, concentric-lay stranded
Medium hard-drawn copper, solid or concentric-lay-stranded
Covering Material
The standard covering on the conductor is black linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE). Alternatively, a covering of black low-density crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) with a 90C temperature rating is available upon request.
The LLDPE and XLPE coverings meet the requirements of ANSI/ICEA S-70-547-2007 (Standard for Weather-Resistant Polyethylene Covered Conductors).
Application
The 1kv triplex ABC Cable is widely used in 0.6/1kV power distribution lines. Consisting of several insulated cores, aerial bundle conductor cable has already been developed in several countries across the globe and promises to be cheaper, safer, more reliable, require less tree clearing and pruning, be more aesthetic, be less labor intensive, require less maintenance and eliminate bushfires being initiated by conductor clashing.
