Detailed Description
Low Price Solar Tracker Tilt Meter RS232 Port High Accuracy Digital Inclinometer INC216
Product Description
INC216 inclinometer is a low cost and small digital output single-axis inclinometer. RS232, RS485 and TTL all can be its output mode.
INC216 inclinometer is designed to accurately measure inclination angles in one axis, in the range of90/180optional. If vertically installed, it can measure an inclination angle in one sensing direction in the 180 (0-360) range.
The angles are measured by a single-axis MEMS sensor, which senses acceleration caused by the gravity force. The output signals from the MEMS sensor are normalized and processed by a microcontroller.
Due to a powerful microcontroller, the inclinometer can perform pre-processing of the angular information according to the users needs. Its internal architecture is user-programmable and allows users to define their own custom functionality using a set of predefined internal functional blocks.

FAQ
What is the Accuracy of Inclinometer?
Certain highly sensitive electronic inclinometer sensors can achieve an output resolution to 0.0001; depending on the technology and angle range, it may be limited to 0.01. An inclinometer sensor's true or absolute accuracy (which is the combined total error), however, is a combination of initial sets of sensor zero offset and sensitivity, sensor linearity, hysteresis, repeatability, and the temperature drifts of zero and sensitivityelectronic inclinometers accuracy can typically range from 0.012 depending on the sensor and situation. Typically in room ambient conditions the accuracy is limited to the sensor linearity specification.
