Detailed Description
High Accuracy Biaxial Tilt Indicator RS485 Port High Accuracy Digital Inclinometer for Cranes INC226
Product Description
INC226 inclinometer is a low cost and small digital output dual-axis inclinometer. RS232, RS485 and TTL all can be its output mode. Adopting the latest technology, the producing engineering and tilt unit of MEMS, the product has a small volume and low power consumption, the consistency and stability is very high.
INC226 inclinometer takes low cost tilt sensing to the next level by combining 100% solid state technology with digital calibration and proprietary filtering techniques. The result is an very accurate tilt sensor with improved linearity, expanded linear sensing range (90 or 180), generous operating temperature range (-40 to +85C).
INC226 is compact and affordable sensor , and it is the ideal choice where high accuracy tilt measurements are required in space restrictive applications.
INC226 can be easily onto any vertical surface. The slot at the base allows for fine adjustment of the zero angle position after installation. It is designed for easy installation and integration.

FAQ
How does the clinometer work?
A clinometer is used to measure angles. This is the method used by foresters to measure the height of a tree. The clinometer only works for measuring height when the observer is standing exactly.
What is a CAN protocol?
The CAN bus protocol is defined by the ISO 11898-1 standard and can be summarized like this: The physical layer uses differential transmission on a twisted pair wire. A non-destructive bit-wise arbitration is used to control access to the bus.
CAN is a multi-master serial bus standard for connecting Electronic Control Units [ECUs] also known as nodes. Two or more nodes are required on the CAN network to communicate. The complexity of the node can range from a simple I/O device up to an embedded computer with a CAN interface and sophisticated software. The node may also be a gateway allowing a standard computer to communicate over a USB or Ethernet port to the devices on a CAN network.
All nodes are connected to each other through a two wire bus. The wires are 120 nominal twisted pair.
ISO 11898-2, also called high speed CAN, uses a linear bus terminated at each end with 120 resistors.
