(aqthm) use high density polyethylene to manufacture pipes and fittings for waste and drainage systems.
The standards permit the use of HDPE (specific weight:945 to 965kg/m3)inside the building at a maxmum temperature of 95 ℃ for non-pressure waste from:
a. sanitary fixtures
b. large scale kitchens,laundries,industrial plants;
c. rainwater systems inside the buildings;
aggressive effluents used in laboratories and school, university and factory buildings (resistance of HDPE to chemicals to be ascertained by consulting the tables in our technical manual).
