Jumper Hose

umper hose is mainly used to supply consecutive flow around the flex/ball joint. And it is also used to accommodate the angular motion at the flex/ball joint at the same time. Jumper hose can transfer the drilling liquids between mud pump discharge outlet and the standpipe at very high pressure in the oil drilling and exploration work. Jumper hose is composed of three parts: tube, reinforcement and cover. Tube is made from the abrasion resistant synthetic rubber which makes it transfer rough drilling fluids. The reinforcement is made from multiple high tensile spiral steel wire, which makes the jumper hose perform well continuously at very high pressure. And the cover makes jumper hose resistant to abrasion, ozone, weather and corrosion.

The details of jumper hose:

• Structure: jumper hose is composed of three parts: tube, reinforcement and cover.
  • Tube is made from abrasion resistant synthetic rubber, mainly nitrile rubber.
  • Reinforcement is made from multiple high tensile spiral steel wire.
  • Cover is made from abrasion, weather, ozone and abrasion resistant synthetic rubber.
• Inner diameter: 3/16" - 2" (4.8mm - 50.8mm).
• Outside diameter: 14.1mm - 68.6mm.
• Working pressure: 1160psi - 6000psi.
• Min burst pressure: 4640psi - 23200psi.
• Temperature range: -40°C - +100°C.

Our advantage:

• The working pressure of drilling hose is designed based on the maximum working pressure of drilling machine. The minimum burst pressure of drilling hose is 2.5 times as high as the working pressure. Therefore, even though the pump breaks down, the drilling hose will not burst.
• The tube of drilling hose is made from nitrile rubber, which can prevent the oil-based mud from permeating out of hose leading to the hose damage in the process of conveying the oil-based mud.
• Our drilling hose is manufactured with integral connectors and the connectors are resistant to pull-off, which can avoid the connectors falling off and hurting the workers in the process of pressure test. And this feature improves the pressure resistance and safety performance of drilling hose greatly.

The application of jumper hose:

• Jumper hose is used for the hydraulic power transmission.
• It is used to deliver water, gas, oil and other high pressure media at the working temperature of -40°C - +100°C.

Jumper hose can be installed to provide continuous flow around the joint.
