PRETACK PL-2104 is a pure
C5 hydrocarbon resin suitable for Solvent Based Pressure Sensitive Adhesive labels and tapes. It is odor improved grade with low odor, low wax cloud point. It has excellent compatibility with Natural Rubber, many kinds of synthetic rubber, styrene polymer (e.g. SIS, SEBS and SBS) and EVA. This grade provides good adhesive capability, excellent aging stability and light color in Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive adhesive and Hot Melt Adhesives applications.
Key Characteristics:
• Good compatibility with EVA, SIS, and other polymers
• Low Wax Cloud Point
• Good thermal resistance
• Low VOC and low odor
• Good tack/ cohesion/peel adhesion balance

Storage
Inside storage is recommended and keep at temperature not exceeding 30oC. Pelletized forms of resins may block or lump in hot weather climates or if stored near heat sources. Resins are prone to gradual oxidation, some more so than others. This could result in darkening and/or it could have an adverse effect on the solubility of the resin in organic solvents or on its compatibility with polymers.
