UHMWPE pipe's wear resistance is 4-7 times higher than steel pipe UHMWPE pipe's weight/meter is 1/8 lighter than steel pipe UHMWPE pipe's life span is 4-5 times higher than steel pipe

UHMWPE pipe is widely used in metallurgical mines,electric powder,petroleum,natural gas,texiles,paper making,food,chemical industry,machiner,electrical and other industries.

The Characteristics of UHMWPE pipe:

1.Excellent wear resistance

Due to UHMWPE pipe has over 2.5 million average molecular weight and unique line style long molecular chain structure UHMWPE pipes' wear resistance is 4~7 times higher than steel pipe, 2~3 times higher than PE pipe.

2.Excellent impact resistance

Over 10 times higher than PE pipe due to UHMWPE pipe has super toughness and average molecular weight, also UHMWPE pipe can withstand any impacts of external forces, and diastrophism, so UHMWPE pipe is more safer and more reliable than steel pipe. Specially hard to damge in the Cantilever Beam Impact Test according to GB1843 standard.

3.Good chemical stability(corrosion resistance)

Due to UHMWPE is a kind of saturated molecule structure UHMWPE pipe has good chemical stability. Except less strong oxidizer, UHMWPE pipe can resist most corrosion of corrosive medium and corrosion of organic solvent. When UHMWPE pipe is been separately soaked in 80 kinds of organic solvents in 20°C and 80°C for 30 days, UHMWPE pipe has not any abnormalities on its surface, also other physical properties almost has no change.

4.Good self-lubrication

The friction coefficient(0.07~0.11) is only 1/6 of new steel pipe, 1/5 of PE, 1/20 of rubber, 1/2 of PP-R because of itself has waxy substance, so UHMWPE pipe can make pipe inner wall keeping smooth and unblocked, and its flow capacity is over 50% of steel pipe. Especially in the bad environment and bad working condition(like mortar conveying, many silt places) UHMWPE pipe can work smoothly also can fully embody its self-lubrication performace to protect relevent workpiece to avoid abrasion.

5.Does not form dirt

UHMWPE pipe does not form dirt in the medium of PH value is higher than 9. Due to UHMWPE pipe has smooth inner wall(1/6 roughness of steel pipe), good self-lubrication,small flow resistance, does not form dirt in the 2.3 M/S medium flow speed, also difficult to form dirt when medium flow speed reaches 2.3 ~4.6 M/S.

6.Easy installation

Density(0.93~0.97 g/cm^3 ) of unit length is 1/8 of steel pipe, so UHMWPE pipe makes more convenient transport, installation, load and unload, also UHMWPE pipe saves workers' labor strength. Whether the ground overhead or underground buried is available. Fully embody "Energy saving, environmental protection, economy, efficiency" advantage.

7.Unique low temperature resistance

So far sole engineering plastic that can work in the absolute zero temperature. The impact resistance and the abrasion resistance almost does not change in the -269°C.

8.High tensile yield strength and tensile fracture strength resistance

The hot deformation temperature is higher over 10°C than general plastic, the cold short temperature almostly has no lower limit, 100% elongation rate, so UHMWPE pipe can bear high pressure, absorb impact load and shut down water pressure fluctuation.
