Bridge building steel plate is especially used in construction of railway or highway bidges. Bridge building steel should possess high strength and toughness to bear the loads and impacts of vehicles. Besides, it is required to be wear-resistant, atmospheric corrosion resistant, and to have high quality surface and proper toughness under low temperature. Bridge building steel is usually made from basic open hearth killed steel. Bolt welded bridge building steel is even required to have proper weldability and low notch sensitivity. Application: mainly used for structural components of railway and highway bridges with span of 46-160 meters.
