YEJ series three phase squirrel-cage induction motor,is a kind of motor that are totally enclosed,fan-cooled and with D.C.round brake. It possess the advantages of rapld braking,simple structure,strong reliability and full performance,further more,the brake is controlled by manual releasing.These motors are widely used on mechanical equipment and driving machines where rapid and accurate braking is demanded.
The round brake of YEJ series motor is mounted on the non-shaft end cover.When the brake is switched on,the brake will start to work on the same time.Due to the absorbing effect of the electromagnet,the electromagnet absorbs the iron and press the spring.When the power supply is turned off,the electromagnetic iron of the brake will lose the electromagnetic force,then the spring will push the connecting iron to press the brake tightly,due to the affect of the friction the motor will stop immediately,etc.
