Eltrombopag Olamine
China [CN] Eltrombopag Olamine, CAS No. 496775-62-3 with molecular formula C27H29N5O5, molecular weight 503.56 and EINECS number 629-876-8, is a hygroscopic purple-to-black powdered pharmaceutical API. It demonstrates high solubility in DMSO at 56.33 mg/mL, moderate solubility in DMF, and limited solubility in ethanol and neutral PBS buffer; cold storage at 2–8°C under inert nitrogen or argon gas is required to prevent moisture absorption. As a thrombopoietin receptor agonist raw material, this compound is widely offered as high-purity bulk drug, impurity reference standard and lab reagent for chromatographic analysis, pharmacology research, and formulation development of therapies for chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) in patients unresponsive to corticosteroids, immunoglobulins or splenectomy.
