MOLYGS oils are the traditional choice for lubrication in air conditioning andrefrigeration compressors. They are made from the highest quality base stocks andprovide outstanding performance and protection in compressors. They are highlystable and are essentially wax free. They have satisfactory service in many types ofequipment and are approved by most manufacturers for both factory fill andmaintenance fill of their equipment.

APPLICATION

MOLYGS oils perform well over a wide temperature range. They have very goodchemical stability and provide very good protection and lubrication at highercompressor temperatures. In addition, they have low wax content and have chemicalcharacteristics that promote a low pour point and good oil return to the compressorat low evaporator temperatures. Particularly with HCFC and CFC refrigerants such asR-22, R-502 and R-12. Furthermore they perform excellently with natural refrigerantssuch as R-717, R600a and R-290.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

MOLY SW Series, synthetic refrigeration lubricant, is recommended for use with allHFC refrigerants such as R407A and R407C. It is also compatible with HCFCrefrigerants and it can be used with confidence in systems containing R-22 or HCFCbased blends.MOLY SW Series are made from the highest quality base stocks and provideoutstanding performance in a wide variety of air conditioning and refrigerationcompressors. Available in 32 cSt and 68 cSt viscosities, these products can be usedin most reciprocating, scroll, screw and many centrifugal compressors on the market today.

APPLICATION

MOLY SW Series perform well over a wide temperature range. They providemaximum protection and lubrication at higher compressor temperatures. In addition,good refrigerant miscibility at low evaporator temperatures will help promote oilreturn to the compressor.

MOLY SW Series are based on the most current industry standard formulations.These lubricants contain no extra antiwear additives that can leave deposits. Theyare compatible with existing mineral oil and alkylbenzene lubricants, making themexcellent for retrofitting older systems to HFC refrigerants.
