In the flowmeter’s cavity, there are two intermeshed gears as rotors, and each of them can form a room with fixed volume respectively, which called standard volume. The flow can be measured by counting the number of the volumes which medium flow through in a fixed time.
Features
1. Flow measurement is irrelevant with flow state;
2. Medium with high viscosity hardly leaks out from the gap between gear and inner wall of flowmeter. Therefore, the bigger viscosity of measured medium is, the smaller leakage error is, the better the measurement is.
3. Gear flowmeter has high measuring accuracy, so it is suitable for measuring medium with high viscosity except fluid with solid particles, which should be measured by adding a filter additionally. It will also cause measuring error if the medium is mixed with gas.
4. With small volume, light weight and small noise during working, can measure fluid whose viscosity reaches up to 1000 Mpa.s.
5. Measuring accuracy is grade 0.5 and grade 0.2.
6. With various types such as general type, high pressure type, food type, and so on. Be suitable for measuring tiny flow including all kinds of clean fluid.
