Detailed Description
Continuous casting, also called strand casting, is the process whereby molten metal is solidified into a semifinished billet, bloom, or slab for subsequent rolling in the finishing mills. It allows lower-cost production of metal sections with better quality, due to the inherently lower costs of continuous, standardized production of a product, as well as providing increased control over the process through automation.
Continuous Casting Machine mainly consist of ladle turret, tundish, tundish carriage, crystallizer, hydraulic withdrawer, rigid dummy bar, dummy bar storage device, flame cutter, dead plate, roller after cutting, moving device, roller before cutting, dummy bar guide bracket, water system, crystallizer vibration device, cooling bed, steam exhaust system and electric control system. Continuous Casting Machine has been widely used in metallurgical steel industry.
