There are three types of feeders : chute feeder, pendulum feeder and disk type feeder. Chute feeder is widely used in the lines of chemicals, mining, metallurgy, construction, benefication, etc. It is applied to send blocky materials from the storage hopper to the feed-receiving device. Chute feeder can not only be set up on the ground, but also be hung on the discharging opening of ore storage bin. The bottom slab of the feeder makes reciprocating motion. Its frequency of stroke is 20-60 times per minute, and its stroke is 20-200 mm. The stroke can be appropriately adjusted by the driving device eccentric wheel and the distance of eccentricity is half of the stroke. According to the production experiences of some concentration plants, the distance of eccentricity should not be less than 30 mm with regard to viscous minerals. The chute width of chute feeder is about 2-2.5 times of the largest feeding granularity.
