Founded in June 2001, Shandong Longlive Bio-technology Co., Ltd. is a national key high-tech enterprise which committed itself to modern bioengineering scientific research and development. At present, it has formed four leading industrial systems, i.e. functional sugar, starch sugar, medicine and new energy, and won the title of demonstrative enterprise of modern bio-cyclic economy, national high-tech industrial base (core area) for bioindustry, leading enterprise in Chinese functional sugar city, one of top 20 enterprises in China’s starch sugar industry,cyclic economy pilot enterprise of national fermentation industry, one of excellent leading enterprises in national food industry, one of excellent small and medium enterprises in Shandong Province and one of Top 100 private enterprises in Shandong Province. It is the xylo-oligosaccharides production and development base with the largest scale and the highest market share in the world. Longlive trademark has been recognized as a China’s well-known trademark. The Company has been approved by ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, ISO22000, GMP, HALAL, Kosher, and SA8000 social responsibility management system, and its production line of product has been registered with FDA of United States.
Currently, the Company has a Longlive Branch of National Sugar Engineering Research Center, a national public laboratory for functional sugar, a functional sugar engineering research center of Shandong Province and a provincial enterprise technical center. It has undertaken 15 major issues and projects such as “the tenth five-year” program, “863” program, “the eleventh five-year” program, demonstrative project of national high-tech industrialization, special national bioengineering high-tech industrialization project, etc., fulfilled over 20 scientific and technological achievements, obtained 14 patents for invention, and 1 national prize for technological invention, with industrialization of six achievements realized, including xylo-oligosaccharides and cellulosic ethanol. It has established long-term stable cooperation with China Agricultural University, Ocean University of China, Zhejiang University, Shandong University and other scientific research institutes, and engaged over 30 experts and professors to serve as its long-term technical consultants. It has built a bioengineering laboratory in China Agricultural University, jointly created an “Ocean Modern Research Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine” with Ocean University of China, and is a designated training enterprise of the “National Training Base for Life Science and Technology Talents” of Shandong University.
For the purpose of developing modern sunrise biological industry, the Company adheres to a continuously and independently innovative road which integrates production, education and research into one. Taking “developing green cyclic economy” as the mainline and high efficient and cyclic utilization of resources as the development direction, it has innovatively introduced a new concept of “biorefinery”, originated a new cellulosic ethanol production technology with the raw material of corncob residues, and established and improved a cyclic economic industrial chain which incorporates functional sugar and starch sugar into one.
