Channelling the flagship Specialized Epic hardtail, it shares much of the same DNA, but in a budget-friendly aluminium package. Efficiency is the name of the game with the Chisel, with state of the art aluminium technology making it one for the most capable alloy hardtails available. Contemporary geometry sees progressive long reach measurements across the size range and a confidence-inspiring 68-degree head angle.
Utilising D'Aluisio Smartweld technology, Specialized has created an aluminium masterpiece which balances strength, weight and rigidity to make the new Chisel the most high-tech to date. With a frame weight as low as 1400 grams, it puts many carbon framesets to shame, all whilst retaining frame stiffness in all sizes. Optimised for a 1x drivetrain, it is packed with modern features including internal cable routing, boost spacing and 30.9mm dropper compatibility. A threaded bottom bracket ensures easy replacements and long-lasting, creak-free performance.
