Lamp difference

UVA lamp

Use to compare with different polymers, because uv lamp no uv element below 295nm, dislike the UVB lamp can degenerate rapidly materials, The test will be closed to the outdoor results.

UVA-340

Wavelength between 365nm and 295nm, peak wavelength in 340nm, use to compare the formulas of different samples.

UVB lamp

It gives of the unnatural light, wavelength below in 295nm, as test results, it is fatter than uv lamp, widely use in QC and testing durable materials. The test results were somewhat different those outside. There are two UVB lamp to use with same wavelength, the total uv content is different.

Lamp performance

0.68W/M²in 340nm equal to midday sunshine.

0.67W/M² in 310nm is standard.

1.38W/M²in 340nm equal to max. Double sunshine.

1.23W/M² in 310nm is rapid sunshine.

0.35W/M²in 340nm is optimum average.

0.48W/M² in 310nm can extend the life of lamp.

Equal to the March/September light, or low uv light
