The reel also features a machined-aluminum, two-tone, anodized spool and metal handle for added strength and durability. For ultra-smooth line movement, the reel is outfitted with four stainless steel ball bearings and a multi-disc Japanese oiled felt drag. The blank is built with a very sensitive graphite composite to give you the ability to feel subtle bites. The Alaris rod features a unique combination of an EVA foam foregrip with a rear cork split grip, so you will be able to comfortably handle large fish.
