Dissolution basket for tablet dissolution test

Dissolution basket is installed on the dissolution meter, which is a necessary tool for the experimental research of drug preparation dissolution. The basket is made of stainless steel metal materials, and the swing range shall not exceed 0.1mm when the basket is rotated. The most commonly used specifications are 40 mesh. 

Dissolution basket method process

Precautions

When applying the basket method test, attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the basket. Generally, the gap in the basket is observed in the sunlight.

If there is clogging, it can be cleaned by ultrasonic or boiling in dilute nitric acid and then boiled in water, otherwise the accuracy of dissolution will be affected. Especially at low speeds, the effect is more pronounced.

A dry basket should be taken during the test.
