Reconstitution: |
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to settle the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1% BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at < -20°C. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions. |

GHRP-2 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide 2) is a growth hormone secretagogue of the hexapeptide class. Comprised of six amino acids, the peptide functions by stimulating natural GH production along with the production and release of ghrelin. It has a short half-life with peak concentrations occurring around 15 minutes and not longer than 60 minutes after administration. It also acts on the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland to release growth hormone with a slight stimulator effect on Prolactin, ACTH and Cortisol levels. What’s more, GHRP-2 works as an analogue and bears no effect in increasing the level of appetite in a subject. The products we offer are intended for laboratory research use only.
