The secret of the fascinating pearlescent effect lies in a special pigment structure composed of natural or synthetic mica platelets or artificial glass substrates and consecutive semitransparent layers of metal oxides.
Pigments are obtained from pure natural minerals and ores. The light-reflecting particles within create beautiful shiny natural sparkly colours. Pigments are not water-soluble, and can be used in M&P soap, bath and body products, candles, crafts, paper making, clays, paints, resins and aroma beads.
