It is commonly used for milling the larger plane.2) end milling cutter; end milling cutter is the most commonly used milling cutter in NC milling. It is widely used for machining planar parts, and Figure 4-3 is the two most common end mill. In addition to milling with end edge, end milling is often used for milling side edges. Sometimes end and side edges are simultaneously milling.
