Features of Inconel Rod:
  1. Superior resistance to sodium hydroxide solutions, chloride stress corrosion cracking.
  2. As with austenitic stainless steels Inconel 601 can be sensitized to intergranular corrosion in some aggressive media after heating in the temperatures range 540ºC - 760ºC.
 
Applications of Inconel Bar
1. Thermal processing baskets, trays, fixtures, radiant tubes, muffles, retorts, flame shields, and electrical resistance heating wires.
2. Thermocouple safety tubes, process heaters, condenser tubes and catalyst supports
