China [CN] STR models of rotary contacts are designed to include "thru-shaft" mounting configurations. By allowing the shaft to pass through the electrical rotary contact, the STR can be mounted between existing machines without modification, often minimizing the space required in an application. The hollow shaft can even be used to pass hydraulic, pneumatic, water or other lines through the center of the unit.
A wide range of standard shaft sizes makes the STR platform extremely adaptable. Like all other ROTOCON designs, the STR can handle low-levelcontrol signals and power inputs in the same unit. Contact resistance and electrical noise are minimized with the ROTOCON sealed design. The STR series is commonly customized by ARS to fit existing machinery and satisfy unique electrical requirements through a wide variety of customizable options.
